AWC Silent Auction ~ Members Only
Feb 1st through Feb 9th  

The AWC owns many items that have been purchased over the years or donated by members to give the Clubhouse its homey feel. Our plan is to give AWC Members the chance to purchase items before we post them to the public.

Silent Auction ~ A catalog of items is available by Feb 1st. A minimum bid has been set and any member interested must email their bid for the item to a special email account. Please read the Auction Rules below. There is a specific bid format required. View the AWC Silent Auction Catalog.

We will hold an AWC Sale Day (along with the February Member Gathering) on February 7th from 9:30am to 3:30pm so that interested members can view the items in person.

Auction Rules
  1. The auction is open to current AWC members only. You do not need to be present on AWC Sale Day to bid.
  2. Members will be able to view items in the online catalog or at the AWC Clubhouse. 
  3. The auction starts on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 9:00 am Bangkok time and ends on Friday, February 9th at 5:00 pm Bangkok time.
  4. This is a silent auction. You cannot see what other people have bid.
  5. You may bid as many times as you want.
  6. The winning bid will go to the person who bid the highest amount by the end of the auction.
  7. If there are multiple bids of the same amount, the first person to bid that amount will be the winner.
  8. To bid on an item, you must send an email to: auction@awcthailand.org with the item name & number and bid in the subject line. Use this format:

    Subject: Item name (amount THB)
    EXAMPLE: 
     Subject: 01-Altar (9,500 THB)

    Please try to follow this format to be clear.

  9. Winners will be notified by email by Monday, February 12th. We will then send instructions on how to make payment. 
  10. Winners must submit payment no later than Wednesday, February 14th by 4:00 pm. If they do not, they will be disqualified, and we will notify the next highest bidder.
  11. Winners need to coordinate delivery of their winning item/s. We can not deliver.
NOTE: There are a few items with 2 or 3 lots. Please read carefully in each item description about them. We will do our best to be fair in how these are handled.

Any items that do not receive a bid during this timeframe, we will consider reducing in price and resending to members on Feb 13th. If bids are not received by Feb 16th at 5pm, we will promote the items in the Expat Community and hold another Open House on Wednesday, Feb 28th. At that point we will entertain all reasonable offers.
