Please join us for a talk by Tanya Vannapruegs, MBA, MPH, “Turning a Typical Hospital for the Sick to a Lifestyle for Disease Prevention Hospital.”

Tanya literally grew up and lived in Thailand’s first diabetes center for 30 years, TanyaVannapruegs has naturally absorbed and understood the importance and progress of how Thailand’s first diabetes multi-disciplinary care team has formed and currently operated. Tanya has formally joined with Theptarin working team for over 15 years. She is the key driver in translating Prof. Thep Himathongkam, MD, FACE, FACP’s, founder of Theptarin and her father, dream and vision into action in details especially the primary prevention of diabetes and philanthropic matters.

Tanya is currently the associate director of Theptarin Hospital taking care of internal and external communication including works involving connecting with government agencies and other health-related sectors such universities, professional associations, and pharmaceutical companies.

Tanya received her bachelor of arts from Tufts University, USA and completed her master in public health and master in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley, USA.

THIS LUNCHEON LOCATION IS YOUR POLLING PLACE! This is the time and place to cast your vote (unless you request an absentee ballot in advance) for the 2016-2017 AWC Executive Officers. Read about the candidates. The Nominating Committee will have the polls open from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm to accept your ballot. If you just want to come vote and not attend the luncheon, that’s fine.
