Each year Khun Preeda opens his historic Thai home to select groups in Bangkok. AWC has been invited to this unique event to learn directly from Khun Preeda how the house was built and how it has been in their family for generations. It is made of four houses, each 200 years old, from three different owners and were reassembled into one living quarters in a U-shaped configuration on stilts. The houses are conjoined by an open ceramic tile terrace. For more information on Khun Preeda’s house, visit http://preedathaihouse.weebly.com
We will enjoy a delicious Thai lunch prepared on location. And Khun Preeda’s family also manufactures beautiful blue & white pottery, so there will be some shopping time.
