“Helping them Light their Way”

September marks a new season of raising awareness and
giving support to those in the Bangkok community who need it most. AWC is privileged to help promote a world free of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, especially among women and children.

NightLight is an international organization committed to addressing the complex issues of commercial sexual exploitation through prevention, intervention, resto­ration, and education. Its mission is to do whatever it takes to effect change within the global sex industry. They provide alternative employment for Thai women seeking free­dom from sexual exploitation, giving them life-skills training along with physical, emotional, and spiritual development.

One of the many skills they teach these women is how to be a part of a successful jewelry business. Nearly 80 women are employed in NightLight Design, developing new skills in jewelry making, technology, marketing, and public relations. In addition to job and life-skills training, women receive competitive salaries, childcare assistance, and scholarships to pursue additional education.
Please join us to hear more about this important organization.
Learn how to make your own unique piece of jewelry from NightLight jewelry makers. You will take home the jewelry you make, either a set of necklace and earrings or a set of bracelet and earrings. You will also have the chance to shop from NightLight Design’s current collection. We, together with the women of NightLight, will share a day to remember.
