WHO: All are welcome! Register a team with men, women, kids, international family and friends. High school students seeking volunteer hours are encouraged to lead teams and be part of this impactful initiative. Each team of four people will be matched with one student who they will sponsor for the 2024-25 school year.
WHAT THE FUNDRAISER IS FOR: This in-person and virtual, activity-based fundraiser will be a fun way to benefit our Thai high school scholarship students. Each team of four people will log their weekly personal activity and their kilometers traveled as they race other teams through a virtual route in northern Thailand.
HOW DO I COUNT MY ACTIVITY?
Any activity counts, whether it can be tracked in distance or not. If you walk, run, bike or swim, then simply log the number of kms you completed. If you use a step counter, feel free to log the km you complete each day. If you do a non-distance activity, like yoga, Pilates or Zumba, then count each 30 minutes of activity as 2.5km. WHERE ARE WE RACING?
Your team of four is about to embark on a virtual tour of central and northern Thailand. Our route will visit four schools where AWC Scholarship students study and will give you a glimpse into off-the-beaten path rural provinces that most tourists don’t reach. View the virtual route map and be sure to click the marker number that corresponds to each school at the top of the page to learn more about the school and its surroundings.
You have until the end of March to complete our 530km course. It’s a challenge but one we think you can achieve! If you complete the course before the end of the month, keep racing. We have a fun prize for the team who covers the longest distance.
REGISTRATION FEE: 1,500 baht/person (proceeds will provide scholarships for Thai high school girls in the AWC Scholarship Program)
HOW TO REGISTER: Sign up yourself and up to 3 guests / teammates to make a team of 4 people. Individual participants will be grouped with other registrants into teams of 4.

Registration Information:
- If you want to form your own team, make sure to book 3 people as your guests (email address for each is needed)
- A maximum number of people per booking is 4, equivalent to 1 team.
- When booking less than 4, please be aware you will be grouped with others into teams of 4.
** We invite you to also join us for a Kick-off Walk on Friday March 1st, 9am at Benjakitti Park. Come along and log your first kilometer with our group by walking through the park.
** DONATE TO THE CAUSE: If you are not able to participate in the March for the Future, AWC Scholarship Fundraiser, but you want to support the cause, you can make a personal donation. The proceeds raised at this special event will benefit the AWC Scholarship Program that supports the education of underprivileged Thai high school girls. 100% of your cash donation will go toward scholarship.
