Experiencing the Real Thailand

A unique way to see Bangkok: Exploring by bicycle! bicycle1.png

Due to the success of the previous tour and a number of requests, we decided to organize another bicycle tour. The route will be different than last time, so it is ideal for repeaters.

Starting in the heart of Chinatown, our senses come alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of a community in motion. Crossing the Chao Phraya River with excellent views of the city skyline, we will visit the forgotten green areas of rural Bangkok. Behind the façade of modernization are hidden worlds of peace and tranquility. Real Thai life that has remained unchanged for countless decades.

During the tour a local lunch will be served. The donation amount includes coffee, tea or a soft drinks during the briefing, guides, transportation costs during the tour, lunch, plenty of water and/or soft drinks en route and well-maintained bicycles.

Anybody who knows how to cycle can do this tour. Don’t forget to bring a cap or hat and sun-block.

Meeting Place: Grand China Princess Hotel's coffee shop
(Click on the link to view or download the directions in English & Thai as well as the map to the hotel)

Leader: Germa
Limit: 16 persons

Deadline to sign up online and pay at the office is June 2nd.
