December 3rd is the last day for the ANNUAL TOY DRIVE
It’s time for AWC’s annual toy drive! This year the toys you donate will be given to the children of Fatima Center of the Good Shepherd Sisters, a charity organization that provides self-help training and support services for the needy. Where? When? How? you ask …
AWC will host a Christmas Celebration party at Fatima Center in Bangkok on Thursday, December 9th from 10:30am–Noon. We invite our members to come celebrate the season with the children.
How does the Toy Drive work?
- We ask that you limit the value of each toy to between 300 to 400 baht. This helps us ensure that each child will receive a comparable gift. If you want to spend more, please feel free to buy as many toys as your heart desires.
- Please consider that there will be 100 boys and girls ranging from 3 1/2 to 7 years of age.
- No need to wrap the toys you give, but if you want to also donate wrapping paper, that would be great.
Where do you take your toy donations? We want to make it easy for you, so here are the drop-off locations:
One more bit of news! The Community Projects Committee will hold a little party to wrap the toys on Tuesday, December 7th, 9:30am at the Catherine's house. We invite you to come help. The more the merrier!
