HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great Memorial Day

AWC recognizes His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX) Memorial Day, October 13th.

Born on December 5, 1927, he reigned as King of Thailand from June 6, 1946 until his death on October 13, 2016. He was highly revered by the people in Thailand and some saw him as close to divine.
