Bangkok Community Theatre Presents...
Blithe Spirit
Directed by Mark Sobels, this is a classic Noel Coward comedy: while working on a novel about the occult, Charles Condomine decides to invite an eccentric medium, Madame Arcati, to hold a seance at his house. When the ghost of Charles' first wife, Elvira, is inadvertently summoned, Charles' second wife, Ruth, is not pleased. Magic and mayhem follow as Elvira makes herself at home!

Noel Coward remains one of the most popular and entertaining writers in British history. Blithe Spirit was written in only five days during the Blitz in 1941, and when first produced in London, it broke the record for longest-running non-musical British play. The play also did well on Broadway and was adapted for film in 1945. Since then, Blithe Spirit has seen countless revivals on both sides of the Atlantic as well as film and television productions.
