AWC's Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Election of Officers will be held at the Swissotel Nai Lert Park on Thursday, November 14th.

10:00 am - Voting begins. Shopping with vendors.
11:00 am - Speaker: Alexandra Du Sold
12:00 pm - Luncheon is served

Join us for a luncheon with Alexandra Du Sold, our guest speaker.

 Alexandra Du Sold is the pioneer behind eco-luxe label APOCCAS, an acronym for ‘Ancient Power on Cotton, Cashmere And Silk’. Inspired during a 9-month sabbatical in Southeast Asia, Alexandra fell in love with the master weavers of Ancient Siam. She followed her bliss and took the bold decision to leave London's financial world behind in order to stay in Thailand to nurture a business venture that would create a much-needed livelihood for weaving communities in rural Thailand. Her mission is to introduce these women's exquisite textiles by showcasing them to a sentient world.

THIS LUNCHEON LOCATION IS YOUR POLLING PLACE! This is the time and the place to cast your vote (unless you request an absentee ballot in advance) for the 2014-2015 AWC Officers. Candidates' biographical statements and photos are be available here. The Nominating Committee will have the polls open from 10:00 am til 1:00 pm to accept your ballot. Remember, if you just want to come vote and not attend the luncheon, that’s fine.
